CPOTX welcomes #2000
CPOTX is proud to announce our 2000th enrollee! We couldn't be happier to announce Maggie Byers, a 2013 Churchill grad and standout golfer, as our 2000th athlete to enter our program since our inception back in March of 1997. We look forward to many more years of service in Texas helping quality student-athletes achieve their aspirations to compete at the next level. Welcome aboard Byers family!

the CPOTX 2011 senior class.

Seen on the left, Doug, Sheri and Greg stand with 2010 CPOTX
Male Athlete of the Year recipient, Jamal Johnson, a Madison Maverick
basketball standout. Jamal signed his D-1 basketball full ride
scholarship with west coast power, Cal Poly Tech, last semester where he
hopes to contribute to the varsity as a true freshman. Jamal played
a key role as a point guard for the Mavs, helping lead them to a State
Final 4 appearance.
On the right, Tommy stands with proud dad, John Hurdt and
CPOTX Female Athlete of the Year for the class of 2010, Madeline Hurdt
from Boerne-Champion on signing day, February 3rd, 2010. Madeline signed
with the Buckeyes of Ohio State University for her track scholarship as
one of the top female shot putters in the country. The Hurdt family is
our first College Promoters family to have 2 athletes receive Athlete of
the Year honors.

Both athletes received D-1 scholarships to outstanding collegiate programs.
Seen on the left, Jarek Lancaster holds his CPOTX profile while sporting his college colors after being the first San Antonio H.S. player ever to receive a fullride football scholarship to Stanford University. A 2009 QB/LB grad out of O'Connor High School, look for Jarek to possibly see playing time on defense as a true freshman this fall at Stanford.
On the right is Jasmine Kent, 2A State Champ jumper from Randolph H.S. She stands proudly with her mother, Sybil. Jasmine was named our 2009 Female Athlete of the Year after receiving her offer to Georgia Tech as a track hurdler/ jumper.
 
2008 CPOTX male and female athletes of the year stand above. Both athletes received D-1 fullride scholarships to prestigious SEC schools.
On the left is LSU recruit Tommy Parsons out of the Smithson Valley High School football program.
Seen on the right is Warren High School track star Kia Wansley standing by her proud father, Allen. Kia received her fullride track scholarship to the University of Kentucky.

Every year since the inception of College Promoters, a parent with the most focus and follow-through has been selected by the CPOTX staff to be named "Parent of the Year."

she will appear as College Promoters' 15th recipient of the annual
award.

Jarek's dad, Pat Lancaster, is in a playful mood after being named CPOTX 2009 Parent of the Year for his strong parental support in his son's highly successful academic and athletic H.S. career at O'Connor. Jarek will be one of only 19 freshman from all across the country attending Stanford University this fall on a fullride football scholarship.

University of Loyola volleyball scholarship recipient Amanda Oldani is all smiles as she stands alongside her father, Dan, after learning of his selection as College Promoters "Parent of the Year" for the Class of 2008.

Chase Wilke points proudly to the "Parent of the Year" plaque here at College Promoters, as well he should. His father Steve is the recipient of the 2007 "Parent of the Year" award for his unrivaled commitment to Chase's college future.
John and Mary Sue Hurdt are all smiles after being named our 2006 "Parents of the Year". Their daughter Margo, received the CPOTX "Female Athlete of the Year" award and is attending Corpus Christi A&M on a full ride softball scholarship after her All-State O'Connor H.S. career.

Linda Saur, the 2005 "Parent of the Year" recipient, is seen here with Doug upon being notified of her selection for the yearly award.

2004 Parent of the Year, Craig Clement,
comes by the office to visit with Doug, after his son Chase was named
our 2004 CPOTX Male Athlete of the Year and later San Antonio's 2008
Male Sportsman of the Year, following his NCAA record seting career as a
4 year QB starter for the Rice Owls.

Proud dad, Jim Tomlin, show's off his son's Clark H.S. football helmet after receiving our 2003 Parent of the Year award for his dedication in his son Zane's pursuit of a D-1 football scholarship. Zane selected the University of Missouri Tigers over several other college offers for his Division 1 college of choice.
